: : Hello,
: : Could anyone take a look at the questions that were on my exam. I somehow found them a bit strange.

: : -The dictionary is too expensive. Could you me 25% discount? ......Is there an "a" before the 25%??

: : There was another multipul choice a bit strange,
: : -Let's go to the movies, 1)shall we?
: : 2)all right?
: : 3)No problem?
: : Which one above is correct?

: : Thanks

: The first sentence does read awkwardly, and inserting an "a" before 25% would, as you suggest, make it better.

: with regard to the multiple choice, 1 is perfectly correct, if a bit formal. 2 would be colloquial, but perfectly understandable. 3 is clunky.

Shouldn't it be: Could you give me a 25% discount?
