The burning questionPosted by Lotg (OZ) on August 06, 2004 I know what this means, but how did it originate? Obviously saying that a question is a 'burning question', conveys a feeling that the question is both imperative, urgent and of the highest priority and importance. But who first said it - why 'burning'?
