"Like a Duck on a Junebug"

The discussion of white on rice, below, reminded me of an expression used whenever someone is absolutely on and after something or someone. To say he went after her like a duck on a junebug, tells a story in the midwest part of the US. If you've ever seen a duck go after a delectable and substantial junebug as a meal, you get the picture.
