: 1. There is the phrase "Thats for me to know and you to find out" (I hope I have it the right way)
: In which context would to be most suitable and what is its origin?
: 2. What does this mean "My thoughts this morning are as tangled as my hair" I know that it comes from a Japanese poem but I cant find the origins
1. "How much did you pay for that hat?" "That's for me to know and you to find out." It's just another way of saying, "I am not telling you" or "It's none of your business."
2. I don't know the poem. But it would mean the person's thoughts were jumbled, confused, convoluted. The person wasn't thinking clearly and logically.
