: : Does anybody know the rest of this poem, or the name of it? My mother's wanted for years to find the rest of it. She can remember this much from her childhood:
: : "Who took me from my nice warm cot
: : And put me on this cold, cold pot?
: : My mother!"
: : If anybody could help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

: I heard and saw (neatly typed out) a slightly different version called "Your Mother," and like the version above was an homage to the dear parent. It had several verses, all in the same meter, but the only one I remember was "Who set you on that little pot / And made you piss if you could or not? / Your mother!"
