Where does it come from?Posted by Annastacia Goodlad on September 04, 2003 i'm from derbyshire in the uk and for years have heard the phrase "it's black over our bill's mothers" referring to the dark clouds on the horizon. however, no-one can tell me where this phrase comes from, please help!!
