: my wife was reading book; "Seabiscuit" and stumbled across the sentence describing someone as having a "hasting's temper." Can anyone lend a hand on where this expression may have originated from....Does it have anything to do w/ the battle of Hastings??? Thanks Guy

I haven't been able to find it in my references. Sorry.
