I am surprised re reference to some Chicago politician, because in Australia it has always referred to errol flynn, ie for about the last 80 years see the macquarie dictionary of australian slang or their website which states:- "phrase in like Flynn, successful in a particular enterprise, especially sexual. [referring to the casual sex successes attributed to Errol Flynn, Australian-born US movie actor]" |
