: Hi,
: Could anyone tell me the meaning of the following sentence?
: "This book will attempt to dwell on those aspects which tend to fall between the cracks of these more familiar types of approaches."
: Thanks a lot.
: Celia
The book will deal with aspects that have been overlooked since the main focus has been on more familiar approaches.
"Fall between the cracks" is a common phrase but I couldn't find it in my references. The image I get is a pile of grain on a table and some of the grains falling off the table and down between the cracks of the floor boards.
