: : : I am looking for a phrase of 8 words, the first letter in each word being l m c a y s h o. Can anybody help me out on this.

: : Sometimes such questions are answered by going to the alphabetical Meanings and Origins section of this site and looking for a phrase with those initials. This time, that didn't help. I searched the letter L without finding a match.

: Maybe "...and you shall have..."?

I didn't want to post a partial answer and look stupid, but as nobody else knows - I'll let on some partial solutions:
Let me c? and you shall have one
Long may...
Love may conquer all, yet...
Love many c and you shall h o
L may come and you shall have o
[Lick my c and you shall have o? - there are some other similar ones to that, but I don't think they're routine phrases]

I felt the rhythm of the phrase rotated around the "a" as an "and"
