Georges and stiffs

Posted by Jamie on January 30, 2003

There was discussion of this some time ago.

If anyone still cares, the episode of CSI was just shown on TV in the UK (Channel 5). The phrase was used by a waitress in a casino. The "stiff" in question was someone who was very mean & unfriendly (he never tipped) while the "George" was talkative and generous.

This pretty much ties in with ESC's explanation.

Being CSI, the stiff was also a stiff before long.
