"Thanks for yours overnight" in different contexts
Posted by D. Trovatto on January 18, 2003
Hi everybody.
I
would like to know what are the most common uses of the word "overnight" in the
contexts below.
Thank you for your help.
1) Can I say "Thanks for yours
overnight." to someone I met socially on the previous evening or does it usually
imply a sexual conotation?
2) Can I say "Thanks for yours overnight." referring
to a quick reply received by email or telephone call, or only when I actually
receive documents or letters sent by an overnight delivery service (courier, wire)?
