I was browsing through a library book - "Do Fish Drink Water" by Bill McLain (Quill/HarperCollins 1999) and found Phrase Finder listed as a source at the end of the chapter on language. Mr. McLain is: "A veritable Internet legend known for having all the answers." The book says he was/is the Webmaster for Xerox but I couldn't find an actual address for him.
