The first time I heard it was on the old U.S. television show: Baretta. "That's the name of that tune" - Catchphrase frequently used by detective Tony Baretta (Robert Blake), a streetwise undercover police officer of Italian descent working the rough side of town on the police drama BARETTA/ABC/1975-78.
