: : : "Yes sir e Bob". What is the meaning of this? : I don't know the origin. But the way I've heard it (in West Virginia) is: "Yes siree bobtail." And it means "Yes. Absolutely." There's also "Nosirree," without a Bob, which like Yessirree has the accent on "-ee." SS |
