I need help with a poem

i read a poem back in high school and would like to know who wrote it and where I can find it. I can only remember a few lines...i left your house everyday hoping it would be the last; you took enough morpohine to kill a man, it would kill you then
I think that is how it goes anyway. Can you help me?
