: EAU and OWE ? Also French, but -- Are you quite sure you *want* to drive into Manhattan on Thursday morning? It's challenging, all sorts of inexperienced suburban drivers. Unless you plan to reach the city by, say, 6 AM.

I live east of Manhattan and am a suburbanite but sorta experienced, having driven a big yellow cab in Manhattan during college.
The roads are usually empty westbound in the early am ( yes, we leave about 6 or so) but eastbound at noon after the parade is quite a mess.
