Re: CribbagePosted by Gary on November 13, 2003 In Reply to: Cribbage posted by Faulkner on November 12, 2003 : I've been trying to find the origins of the phrases 'One for his knob' and 'Two for his heels' for some time now. Does anyone know why this is said in a random old card game? Nob just means head. The rules of cribbage give a point for a jack. One for his nob is just a more colourful way of saying one for a jack. |
