: I once meet an idiom whose meaning is to solve all the problems one encounters by himself rather than pass them to other people.but now I can't remember it.i only recall the idiom seems to have something with apple.i'm not so sure. The cliché saying is "if you want something done right, do it yourself," but the only related phrase I can think of at the moment is "paddle your own canoe." Can't think of any "apple" idiom.
